2018-Present

From 2018 to the present day, my journey has been dedicated to making a positive impact in a disadvantaged community. Between 2018 and 2021, I assumed the role of a community organizer for a low-income apartment complex comprising 285 units. My responsibilities encompassed the recruitment of volunteers and the orchestration of a diverse range of activities including academic pursuits, arts, music, and sports. These initiatives were tailored to enrich the lives of children and youth residing in the vicinity. As part of fostering community cohesion, we also organized cookouts that brought together residents in a spirit of togetherness.
In 2022, I took a pivotal step by co-founding and assuming the role of secretary at Camp Brilliant Star, a nonprofit organization. Here, we embarked on a mission to extend support to the children in this apartment complex. Our efforts materialized in the form of fundraising events, enabling us to provide backpacks and school supply kits to the children in the neighborhood. Beyond this, we offered engaging camps during school breaks, providing an enriching and nurturing environment for the attendees. Witnessing remarkable growth, the program's attendance surged from an initial 2 to a consistent average of 25 to 30 kids, exemplifying the positive impact we were able to make.

2012-2018

2013, I achieved a remarkable milestone by orchestrating the successful turnaround of a business that was teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, ultimately leading it to profitability within just one and half years of my ownership. Spearheading this transformation, I strategically redirected focus away from serving young mentally ill patients reliant on government funding to establishing a specialized senior private-pay facility. This pivotal shift required me to shoulder a diverse array of responsibilities, ranging from ensuring stringent regulatory compliance, fostering a well-trained and devoted staff, crafting robust operational policies, providing above-and-beyond customer service, and executing impactful marketing strategies.
The outcome was nothing short of incredible—a thriving establishment that garnered an exceptional five-star reputation across diverse platforms, including Google and prominent senior-oriented websites. Adding to the acclaim, the facility was honored with the prestigious "Best of 2017 Senior Living Award" in the town by senioradvisor.com. This esteemed recognition stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment and wholehearted dedication invested in nurturing the business to the zenith of achievement.

1994-1998

During the period spanning from February 1994 to December 1998, I held the position of Network Engineer at HP, a company that had previously been known as Digital Equipment prior to its acquisition in 1998. Based in Littleton, Massachusetts, I had the privilege of being part of three distinct groups, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities. Throughout my engagement, I undertook pivotal responsibilities across various projects, leaving a notable impact in the following capacities:

Alpha Server Group: In this role, I conducted exhaustive validations of network adapter driver functionalities on Alpha servers, spanning diverse platforms. My efforts ensured the seamless integration and reliable operation of these crucial components.

Hub Group - DEC Ethernet/Fast Ethernet Switch Project: I assumed a central role within the development process by spearheading the implementation of firmware and diligently addressing bugs. This contribution proved instrumental in the successful realization of the DEC Ethernet/Fast Ethernet Switch Project.

Network Adapter Group: Within this dynamic group, I led the charge in automating the construction of firmware and diagnostics, a process that significantly optimized efficiency and precision. I also took pride in crafting and meticulously maintaining firmware for the DEC FDDI Controller. This underscored my unwavering commitment to delivering performance of the highest caliber.

Through close collaboration with hardware engineers, I played a pivotal role in the establishment of robust testing facilities, thereby enhancing the integrity of the quality assurance process. My role also involved the meticulous execution of diagnostic procedures to identify and rectify bugs across a spectrum of projects, including the DEC FDDI Controller EISA Project, DEC FDDI Controller PCI Project, and DEC PDDI Controller Turbo Channel Project.

Throughout my tenure, I consistently demonstrated an unwavering dedication to elevating product quality and driving innovation within the realm of firmware engineering. My contributions played a critical role in ensuring the seamless functionality of network systems and significantly contributed to the overarching success of the projects in which I was actively engaged.
